Day-to-day responsibilities of the Field Service Technician

Based predominantly in Stockbridge, the role involves delivering high value machine based items to customers and then demonstrating the product on site which is usually in a rural or agricultural setting.  You will NOT be required to interact with animals. The role is very varied and will sometimes see you delivering five times a week and sometimes only once.

You will be delivering across the whole of England.

Your training will involve you working with the team and assembling our products to learn all about them. You will then be accompanied on visits whilst you learn to demonstrate.

When not delivering the products, you will be required assist around the factory where needed.

Once your training is complete your duties will include: 

• Delivering and demonstrate the product. (mobile handling systems)
• Meeting clients on site and be able to deal with any queries. 
• Inspecting products for delivery.
• Assisting in the assembly of the product on the shop floor.
• Logging all information accurately. 

Required Skills and Qualifications of the Field Service Technician: 

• Full driving license with some experience in towing.
• Farming/agricultural experience.
• An interest in mechanical machinery. 
• Some customer facing experience.
