Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Field Service Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our coding and marking systems for our valued customers. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our equipment on-site, as well as providing technical support and training to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and calibrate coding and marking equipment at customer sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment faults efficiently and effectively.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, both remotely and on-site.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify opportunities for system improvements and upgrades.
- Deliver training sessions to customers on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports and spare parts inventory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a field service engineer or technician, preferably in the coding and marking industry.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
