Role: Project Engineer

Location: Newquay, Cornwall

Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 – open to seeing candidates at all levels

I have partnered with an engineering firm in Cornwall who are seeking a Project Engineer to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

They are going through a tremendous amount of growth, after securing a large, well known household name. This is a brand-new position for the business, where you’ll be managing projects from surveying to completion in the water industry.

You will have previous, in-depth experience of delivering various civil, mechanical and electrical projects in the water industry for their customer base.

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver full life cycle of projects including surveying, building solutions, estimations, proposals, procurement, and delivery of projects.
• Communicating with the client on project timelines.
• Working seamlessly with other members in the department to ensure everything is running on time and within the allocated budget.
• Coordinating staff members and sub-contractor partners.

Role requirements:

• Experience working in the water industry
• Technical experience in either Mechanical, Electrical or Civils within the water industry
• Great understanding of health and safety regulations in the water, civil, electrical and mechanical industries
• Ability to read and decipher technical drawings
• Water industry standards – WIMES & CESWI
• Able to work efficiently and manage multiple project timelines
• Great communication skills and confident speaking with and communicating with external stakeholders
• MUST be able to drive to be considered for this role

Other Information:

• Starting salary from £30,000 - £60,000 – dependant on experience
• Mixture of office work, site and working from home
