Expleo Engineering are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the delivery of vehicle programmes from original concept and design, through to manufacturing feasibility and into current production. This will be a permanent role based at our clients site in Stratford-on-Avon.

Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer include:

• Participating in improvement projects and value stream groups.
• Owning improvement processes to drive down losses in the plant.
• Identifying activities that will create value, leading focused improvement initiatives, six sigma projects and FMEA risk reduction activities.
• Supporting the standardisation of production processes via definition of trigger levels for escalation in daily plant performance meetings.
• Leading team members in the application of process and procedures.

Background, skills and experience required for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer role:

• ONC, HNC or Degree level educated within a related Engineering discipline.
• Previous Interior trim related engineering experience including sewing and trimming.
• Ideally a working knowledge of Teamcenter, NX, AutoCAD and BOM management.
• Prior experience of project delivery through application of continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to travel at short notice within the UK to other sites.
