Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Pay Range/details: Up to circa £55,000

Key Responsibilities – Network Security Engineer

• Configure and manage security appliances.
• Implement high-grade cryptographic devices and key material.
• Assist in managing 3rd party suppliers.
• Review and approve project documentation.
• Liaise with colleagues to form network architecture.
• Provide technical support and consultancy for project activities.
• Collaborate with security teams to maintain network security standards.

Qualifications & Requirements – Network Security Engineer

• Prior experience or vendor certification in configuring and managing firewalls, proxies, and DNS is essential.
• Experience with solutions such as Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, Bluecoat, Riverbed, and Infoblox.
• Aerospace sector experience or familiarity with elevated security levels is crucial.
• Knowledge of cryptography, both commercial and high-grade, is desirable.
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• A team player willing to support the wider Information Management team.
