Maintenance Engineer - PLC Experience

Salary: £54,000

Shift: Panama (Days and Nights)

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a plc/controls bias to join a UK leading company. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be joining an innovative market leader within the industry who can offer unlimited progression and technical development. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be working within a fully automated facility and will receive industry leading training on an ongoing basis. With a solid structure in place there are clear progressions routes into the next role at any level you join. As a business, internal promotions are imperative - each role that becomes available is advertised internally accross the country for a minimum of 2 weeks before going external and you are guaranteed to be interviewed if you put your hand up. With this being a state of the art fully automated site there is extensive training from day one - both internal and external and with the technology evolving at such a fast pace this training is ongoing at all levels. This really is a great oppurtunity for an experienced Electrically biased engineer to showcase their PLC and controls skills as this role will have you carrying out planned and reactive maintenance as well as fault finding and making modifications to the PLC programs. Your role will include fault finding, modyfying and interagating of the latest Siemens PLC software. With this in mind you must have experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC's and must be able to make modifications to programs as a minimum. So do not delay in applying! Skills required for Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Very strong electrically
• Strong controls/PLC knowledge and experience
• Electrical Engineering Qualifications
• An FMCG background would be desirable
