Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated individual working mainly with stainless steel in the production team. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to fabrication, welding, and assembly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge.

Hours:

39 hours per week, 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am -12 noon on Fridays

Duties:

• Fabricate and weld components using mainly TIG welding
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Working with various materials including stainless steel and aluminium with varying thickness from 0.9mm to 5.0mm
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance
• Maintain a clean and organised work area

Skills and Experience:

• Fabrication and welding skills, particularly TIG welding.
• Able to work to deadlines.
• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
