Contek are working with a company in Leeds, specialising in Wire EDM, Form EDM and Hole EDM. They have an exciting opportunity for a senior level programmer setter or graduate to join our award-winning and enthusiastic team.
We are looking for an experienced EDM programmer setter to head up the EDM department and join the team due to the exceptional long-term growth in our order book.
Needs to self-motivated and customer facing and plan efficient utilization of the department
Our main sector is within the Oil and Gas Industry and general engineering.
Knowledge of Charmilles Roboform 40/30 and George Fisher Agie Charmilles form 300 EDM an advantage. Training will be provided if you have a good EDM background.
Use of CADCAM and 3D model interpretation and electrode design would be an advantage.
Rate of pay between £15 and £18 per hour dependant on experience, bonus 10% target related paid quarterly and company pension.
Working hours are 7.30 to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. Friday 7-2pm Overtime may be available as and when required.
Excellent working environment and bonus scheme
Holiday entitlement of 200 hours (Five Weeks) per annum plus statutory holidays.
£250 bonus yearly for 100% attendance.
