Location - Surrey or Newcastle

Do you have a passion for turning ideas into technical reality? Are you skilled in both electrical and mechanical design? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking a talented CAD Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D models using industry-leading software like AutoCAD and Inventor.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and maintain electrical and mechanical drawings for diverse projects, including those for Government/MOD and maritime applications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into precise technical drawings.
  • Ensure drawings meet all industry standards and client specifications.
  • Revise existing drawings as needed.
  • Maintain a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.

What you'll have:

  • Proven experience as a CAD Technician with proficiency in both electrical and mechanical design.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD and Inventor software.
  • Excellent understanding of drafting principles and conventions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience working on Government/MOD or maritime projects.
  • Knowledge of additional CAD software.
