Job Title: Automation Service Engineer (Electrical)

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum / £16-£19.20 per hour (plus overtime at 1.5x)

We are seeking an experienced Automation Service Engineer (Electrical) to join our team. You will be responsible for commissioning industrial automation machinery and troubleshooting any electrical issues that may arise. This is a hands-on role and does not involve control engineering.

Essential Requirements: -

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commissioning industrial automation machinery
• Strong electrical fault finding skills and experience working with PLCs
• Confident and willing to travel extensively (70% of the time), with the ability to work from our factory location in Cheltenham when not travelling
• No criminal convictions that would prevent overseas travel
• British/EU passport holder, able to freely enter the USA/Canada without a visa

Key Responsibilities:

• Commissioning and testing of industrial automation machinery
• Identifying and resolving electrical faults
• Collaborating with the engineering team to improve processes and troubleshoot issues
• Providing technical support to clients and colleagues
• nsuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commissioning industrial automation machinery
