Job Advert: Maintenance Engineer (Electrically biased)

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the Cheshire area? We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, electrically biased, to join our team in a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights schedule. Responsibilities:

• Conducting both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues to minimise downtime and optimise efficiency.
• Carrying out routine inspections and implementing preventive maintenance strategies.
• Collaborating with the production team to identify and address potential maintenance needs.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Apprentice trained or possess NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within the food/FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to work on a wide range of equipment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
