Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

City of London, London
Salary/Rate:
£43,000 - £52,000/annum plus excellent package

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer would you work for a design consultancy that you can't really talk about?

That's not the only secret; they don't have discipline silos or teams dedicated to one sector so you won't be constantly working with the same people, or on office after office scheme.

Not all of their projects are classified, but some of the best ones are, and because of their set up you can engage on them all.

Based near the Barbican Centre in London, they have hybrid working, flexible hours with a contributory pension plan, 25 days leave and some other brilliant benefits.

With this role you will need to be working as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in the building services field currently and have the desire to be a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer.

This means that you will need to be Chartered or near, have been doing mechanical building services design for at least 10 years and be fully familiar with UK regs and standards.

Due to the schemes that they can't publicise you will need to be able to obtain security clearance to work on them, but if you can't, it simply means that you will be working on the rest that they have to offer - and that is no bad thing!

Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age. We act as both an employment agency and employment business.
