The client, a multi-disciplinary property consultancy, is looking for a talented Graduate Town Planner to join the Planning team in Shrewsbury. The successful Graduate Town Planner will have the amazing opportunity to kick-start their career and gain industry experience, whilst been supported by sector leading professionals on exciting projects.

As a Graduate Town Planner within this team, you will be involved in projects across all sectors such as; major residential developments, renewables, land promotions and strategic developments and new homes!

The Position of a Graduate Town Planner

As a Graduate Town Planner, you will be part of a supportive team working on a range of development projects across the housing, commercial, leisure, mixed-use regeneration sectors. You will be meaningfully engaged in all work streams and an active member of the team to help you consolidate your technical skills and confidence as you build your career with structured mentoring to work towards Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

Essential Criteria for the Graduate Town Planner

• Degree or higher in relevant subject.
• Understanding of the UK planning system
• A highly motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and be a self-starter working on your own initiative.
• Have strong research, analytical skills, and reporting skills.
• Be proactive and professional individual.
