Role Summary:
They are seeking a detail-oriented Design Engineer to join the Manufacturing team. The Design Engineer will play a vital role in producing initial design drawings using SolidWorks, as well as working drawings for the manufacturing team, while also assisting in processing and planning orders for machined parts, ensuring that customer requirements and specifications are met with efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of customer needs in diverse industries and be able to translate those requirements into effective designs.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Sales and Engineering teams to understand customer requirements, specifications, and quality standards for machined parts across different industries
Review incoming orders and technical drawings to help create production orders
Work closely with the Production Manager to produce manufacturing drawings.
Qualifications:
- An engineering qualification
- A few years of design experience in engineering, machining, or manufacturing operations
- Able to use SolidWorks
