CNC Turner Setter Operator

Our client on the outskirts of Coventry is looking for experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator due to Growth, investment and a full order book for years to come. The successful applicant will have an option between permanent night shift or permanent day shift. Our client has an international customer base and produce their own products as a specialist in their sector. Due to growth within the business and imminent expansion into a new facility our client can offer and interesting and engaging work environment with a great package and unlimited but optional overtime. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within CNC Turning and will ideally have experience with Fanuc OR HAAS controls, however all controls experience will be considered. Due to ongoing growth their will be opportunities to progress within the business if you show the right initiative.

CNC Turner Setter Operator

• Setting and operating CNC Machines
• Editing programs all controls using Fanuc or HAAS Controls
• Experience interpreting Engineering Drawings
• Work to tight tolerances and inspection of own work
• Working with a variety of materials
• To work to your own initiative and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Experience working with a variety of materials
• Able to be responsible for their own routing inspection
• Assist or instruct other operatives with set ups tooling and cutting details as necessary
• Wherever possible, identify and obtain tooling, fixtures, and machine programme requirements for jobs
• Ensure that routine maintenance (lubrication, cutting fluid, machine cleaning etc) tasks are carried out

• Opportunities on either Permanent nights OR Days 
• Nights- Monday to Thursday 8pm-6am
• Days- Monday to Thursday 07:30am-4:15pm and Friday 12pm midday finish
• Unlimited Optional Overtime on offer
