CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator - Nights Role

Due to an expansion, we are now recruiting for several roles! We offer a good variety of job roles, A good level of experience would be ideal but not overly required as some training can be provided. Roles include both manual work and machining (see below)

Benefits for CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

• Starting salary at £36,000 up to £46,000 (DOE)  
• Company pension with a total weekly contribution of 8%.
• Health and Safety bonus system every 6 months for qualified individuals.
• Overtime paid at time and a half – available after 1pm Friday until Monday – paid lunch break.
• Monday to Thursday 6pm – 6am.

Roles available for CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

• Manual Vertical Borers Setter/Operators (Turning)
• Manual Horizontal Borers Setter/Operators (Milling)
• CNC Horizontal Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer
• CNC Elgamill Setter/Operator/Programmer

Requirements for CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

Manual:

• Have experience of setting and operating manual boring machines or have a similar background (in either milling or turning)
• Work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy work pieces.
• Have the ability to self-inspect parts.

CNC Borers:

• Roles available for experience in Heidenhain control systems and Fanuc (Fanuc also uses Cimcon CADCam for programming)
• Work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy work pieces.
• Have the ability to self-inspect parts.

CNC Vertical Borer:

• Have some CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer experience using Fanuc control systems (also uses Cimco CADCam for programming)
• Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
• Have the ability to self-inspect the parts.
