When it comes to document control and certifications you know your stuff, you know the importance of matching those incoming mill certificates against the products going out of the door.

As a Certifications Engineer or Document Controller your training might be in API or other metal related standards, but there is no getting past you, if you don’t have the right certificate of conformity or lab report you will make it your job to chase it up!

Your attention to detail as someone working in certifications is second to none, there is no room for error here, you are in an industry where there are so many different variants of metal and coatings if the right one doesn’t go into the right place it would cause problems, but that’s why they need you because nothing gets past you!

You are joining a business as their certifications engineer that has tripled their footprint since setting up in 2018, a brand-new purpose-built facility and a team who are experts in their industry with service & quality at the heart of everything they do.

They have built a great team that you can be part of, I’ve known these guys for a long time and was there with them when they bought in their first member of staff, together we have managed to talented professionals from the industry as well as developing and nurturing people who didn’t even know what the product looking like before they started.

Certifications does require technical training which unfortunately they don’t have time to do from scratch, but if you have had exposure to test certifications within your role that would work;  you might have worked in quality for a company in the metals industry, found this an interesting part of the role, or you might have worked in a different industry where certifications are required.

Your hours of work here are 08:30-17:30 and they are a business who like the team together in the office. Salary is Between £24k - £32k.
