Operations Team Leader - London - Earn up to £16.50/h - Apply Now!

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Team Lead Team Leader to manage a team of up to 15 operatives working across London. Our client is a pioneering smart-mobility provider dedicated to transforming city landscapes with a suite of innovative transportation solutions.

Shift Patterns:

- Monday-Friday 9am-6pm + alternative weekend cover required

Pay Rates:
- £15/h with possibility of going to £16.50h if consistent performance is achieved within 6
months

As an Operations Team Leader, you will need to have:
- Proven experience in team management or supervisory roles, preferably in field operations or related sectors,
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and adept at problem-solving and decision-making,
- High level of responsibility, initiative, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A bachelor's degree in management, operations, or a related field is preferred.

Role of an Operations Team Leader:

- Lead and schedule a team of up to 15 foot patrol operatives, ensuring comprehensive coverage across key sensitive areas of London during designated times,
- Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, managing relationships and ensuring all concerns regarding bike placements are addressed promptly,
- Respond to and manage escalations related to untidy or obstructive bikes, implementing quick and effective solutions to maintain public space integrity
- Handle communications with the public and external stakeholders through emails and other correspondence, ensuring transparency and responsibilities,
- Monitor and drive the teams productivity and key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency,
- Demonstrate quick thinking and effective problem-solving skills in dynamic situations, with a willingness to actively participate in ground-level operations.
