Site Manager

WB Power Services is currently recruiting for Site Managers to work Nationwide delivering construction projects as a principal and sub-contractor. This is a superb opportunity for Site Managers to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven, passionate and motivated Site Manager to guide the team through these exciting times.

We provide project works for the permanent installation of generators to power clients such as the NHS, water authorities and critical data centres.

The Role

  • Take accountability for the efficient daily running of construction projects on site.
  • Proactively and diligently manage quality control and health and safety.
  • Take a hands-on approach to pre-site, on-site, and post-site activity.
  • Write all WBPS RAMS and review, manage and sign off all sub-contractor’s RAMS.
  • Collaborate with the Projects team to forecast planned works.
  • Attend ad-hoc meetings at Head Office.
  • Deliver and promote positive internal and external communication.
  • Work following all WB Power Services Ltd ISO’s policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for managing communications between all parties. 
  • Ensure adherence to project timescales and budgets.
  • Manage and resolve any delays or problems encountered on site, escalating issues.

The Person

  • Site Manager / Installation Manager experience.
  • SMSTS. 
  • Willing to work away as our projects are nationwide.
  • Previous experience with Generators or M&E Projects would be desirable.
  • Comfortable with communicating via telephone, face-to-face and email.
  • Familiarity with industry ISO standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety protocols.
  • The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
  • Experienced and competent with IT and a willingness to learn our own ERP.
