Engineering Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the seeker programme for an engineering manager to join a specialist design team and develop innovative new technologies within a defence environment. Taking responsibility for ensuring that the product meets requirements you will work on the assessment and cost reduction in the design process.

Benefits:

• 37-hour week + paid overtime

The Opportunity:

• Gain experience in seeker technologies and hardware engineering design and integration practices
• Be involved in various stages of product development, across the product life cycle
• Travel domestically and internationally in support of seeker integration, trials and manufacture
• Significantly contribute to meeting internal and external expectations
• Act as team leader throughout the product life cycle

Requirements:

• Degree qualified or comparable experience, with knowledge of RF or electronic technologies
• Ability to build strong working relationships with team members and external departments
• Demonstrable experience of product lifecycles, from concept through to production
• Ability to product high quality written reports and presentations to customers
• Experience of project management and cost control
