My client, based in Essex and recruiting for a Validation Engineer to join their team.

The role will involve working as part of a team to support Project Managers and Engineering Technicians on a variety of tasks and is required due to an increase in demand and workload.  

The role will initially focus on performing tests on machines within the factory using preprepared test protocols to support the verification process of the machines.  This is intended to provide consistency in the testing approach from one to the next, whilst also learning how each machine operates.

Alongside the testing activities, the role will also include: -

  • Reporting the outcome of tests and provide feedback to help improve the testing process
  • Assisting technical personnel with the review and update of Equipment Design Specifications and Qualification Documentation
  • Liaising with all departments during the equipment build process
  • Preparing equipment Operator and Technical Manuals in line with relevant machinery standards and essential health and safety requirements for UKCA/CE marking, functional safety, ATEX certification

As experience of the documentation requirements and machine functionality increases, the role will expand to include additional tasks such as: - 

  • Preparing Qualification Documentation expected by the Pharmaceutical Industry (DQ, IQ and OQ documents)
  • Preparing Equipment Design Specifications for reference by customers and internal staff
  • Interpreting customer User Requirements Specifications and support documentation
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers Validation departments during projects Conducting Site Acceptance Tests at customers sites
