Double Day Shift – 37.5 Hour Week

A £42000, Holidays - 25 days + 8 banks, 5-7% pension plan matched, Full Sick pay and Health benefits scheme

Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting for an exciting position as a CNC Setter Operator for one of our clients in the Stroud area.

The Company:

A small company with a good client base focusing on providing specialist CNC machining and supplying to the Aerospace industry. They provide a range of CNC services to their clients and work with exotic materials. They have recently invested in their site based in Stroud and are now looking to grow their team.

The Role:

The main responsibilities of this role are to set, check and calibrate of gauging equipment in your set area. In addition, you will also be responsible for the start-up, re-setting, running and shutdown of all machines, including fixtures, and all work handling equipment. You will also be required to reach your weekly KPI outputs so someone used to working in a manufacturing environment will succeed here.

The Candidate:

  • NVQ Level 2 + (Apprenticeship trained – Engineering)
  • Experienced in all aspects of workshop practise.
  • Experience in all aspects of Production Machining both Manual & CNC.
  • Experience and knowledge in working with Duplex and Nickel Alloy Materials.
