Position : Service Administrator

Sector : Engineering/Manufacturing

Location : Sheffield

Salary : £25,000

Shifts : Days regular 37.5 hours

Main Duties:

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls
  • Liaise with colleagues to prioritize customer scheduling
  • Review engineer work reports
  • Data Entry / reporting
  • Cross reference various reports, extracting key data for reporting
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Order access equipment/ materials when/ if necessary
  • Update asset registers and compliance documentation
  • Any additional tasks when required by senior colleagues
  • Monitoring Hub inbox and ensuring the relevant people are passed emails if required/deal with relevant emails.
  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls

  • Contact Customers to confirm Engineer availability and schedule
  • Allocate Engineer work and review engineer work reports
  • Data Entry
  • Cross reference various reports, extracting key data for reporting
  • Raise Purchase Orders
  • Order access equipment/ materials when/if necessary
  • Update asset registers and compliance requirements
  • Any additional tasks when required by Senior colleagues

About you:

* 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing, either in a quality, admin, or technical role

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise jobs

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* A high level of attention to detail

* Good organisational skills

* Proficient user of MS Office in particular Word and Excel
