Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage bridge engineering projects from inception to completion
- Undertake design and analysis of bridge structures
- Produce clear and concise technical reports, specifications, and drawings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Contribute to business development activities and client relationship management
- Adhere to relevant industry standards and health and safety regulations
Job Requirements
- Significant experience in bridge engineering within the Rail and/or Highways sectors
- Strong technical proficiency in bridge design and analysis using industry-standard software
- Completed degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Chartered Engineer status with a recognized professional institution (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to effectively manage projects, resources, and client expectations
