Position: Mobile Plant Fitter

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE)

Interaction Recruitment is working with a national plant hire company with sites all over the UK. With both workshop and field-based opportunities your next move is just around the corner. Due to an expansion in the business this company is looking to expand its workforce in their field based roles. If you are mechanically minded or have experience within a relevant field this is the position for you!

The Position:

• To diagnose faults and repair/maintain a variety of plant equipment including compressors, mini- excavators, dumpers, small tools etc, both on and off site
• Check and tag all equipment and update service records
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of products and full range of accessories
• Completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork
• Abide by customer Health & Safety rules when on site
• Keep workshop and vehicle (where provided) organised, clean and tidy and assist with general workshop duties as and when required.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the Foreman or General Manager

The Candidate:

• Worked in a similar workshop/field based environment
• A relevant mechanical/electrical qualification
• A solid knowledge and understanding of plant equipment or mechanically minded
• A strong eye for detail
