Field Service Engineer

Salary:  £40,000 Basic

Overall Package: Overtime (Door to Door) (Average Earnings of £50,000 - £60,000)

Location: Candidates can live in Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire or West Midlands

A leading manufacturer providing services to the packaging industry is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent move to join a company where you would have a high level of autonomy with scope to move into Specialist, managerial, planning and project positions once you have established yourself within the business.

The Role of a Field Service Engineer:

As a field service engineer you will be based from home managing your own work load - on average you will be required to make one client visit a day as the machinery you will be working on is quite complex. Manufacturing, food, FMCG sites are the types of sites you will be visiting where you would be working on a range of food processing machinery.

Skills required for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Experience in Packaging or Manufacturing sector
  • Worked as a Field Service Engineer or a Maintenance Engineer
  • Electrical and Mechanical Skills
  • Engineering Qualification
