CAD TECHNICIAN

Flexible working location - visiting office in Rugby weekly with some visits in the London area

Monday to Friday - 37.5hrs - 9am to 5.30pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays)

£35,000pa + depending on skills & experience

Our client, a successful, growing company based in Rugby, are looking for a CAD Technician to join their current, fast paced team. This person will have a flexible working location, but will need to visit the Rugby office weekly and attend occasional site visits in London.

The key responsibilities of a CAD Technician:

• Developing 2D design, construction and record drawings
• Management of drawing protocols and document control
• Liaising with customers to establish protocols for specific projects, as well as internally/externally with project managers
• Creating design issue, construction issue and final record drawings

Minimum requirements for a CAD Technician:

• Working experience of using AutoCAD LT
• Great communication skills - able to communicate on various levels and with both customers and engineers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Can deal with complications and problem solving in a calm and swift manner

The ideal candidate for CAD Technician:

• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office
• Self motivated
• Ideally have experience with 3D REVIT / Navisworks
• Driving licence and own vehicle to visit sites
