This equipment specialist is renowned throughout the UK for importing, distributing, and servicing high-quality manual handling equipment. Due to securing new contracts and increasing demand the company is looking to expand their valued servicing team.

In this role, you will provide routine and reactive maintenance to material handling equipment at client sites throughout the region. There are minimal stay-aways and you will be paid door-to-door, with any hours over those contracted, paid at a premium rate. You will be servicing forklifts, heavy-duty machinery, and vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in the forklift or material handling industry, with a good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.

The Role

• Provide routine and reactive maintenance to forklift machinery
• Home-based, working around the Kent regional patch
• Paid door-to-door with any hours outside working hours paid at premium rate

The Person

• Maintenance Engineer with knowledge and competence with hydraulics, mechanics, and pneumatics
• Previous experience working on forklifts/heavy-duty machinery and vehicles
• Full UK Driving License
