We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our global engineering business.  You will become part of a team of professionals looking to provide the highest level of quality and service to their customers.   As a Quality Engineer, your mission is to ensure first rate product quality from the supply chain to customer delivery. You'll lead quality initiatives, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement using quality tools. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the company’s 'zero defect' mindset and supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of a Quality Engineer

• Lead quality initiatives and provide guidance on product quality.
• Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
• Support short, medium, and long-term quality objectives.
• Conduct investigations using RCCA and FMEA.
• Manage audits (internal and supplier) and quality clinics.
• Collect and analyse KPI data to improve processes.
• Support FAIR, PPAP, and NPI activities.
• Drive continuous improvement using quality tools.
• Manage site metrics and cross-train staff in quality tools.
• Serve as a customer interface, ensuring 'zero defect' support.
• Interface with the supply chain to enhance processes.
• Support the business management system and drive improvements.
