CHP Service Engineer
Circa £42,000 + Vehicle + Benefits
Kent/South East London
MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Service Engineer to carry out servicing and maintenance on Combined Heat and Power Units (CHPs) across client sites in Southeast London and Kent.
As the Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Fault finding and diagnosing on both mechanical and electrical components across CHP systems
- Consistent servicing on all locations with the highest of regards to health and safety
- Understanding electrical drawings and parts manuals
- Assisting the Team Leaders on CHP unit maintenance
- Working within the Veolia procedures and policies
- Updating maintenance work schedules as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Experience in servicing and maintaining gas engines/CHP units or similar
- Ideally a time served apprenticeship along with a relevant engineering qualification e.g., NVQ/City and Guilds
- Ideally gas safe qualified, training will be provided
- Full UK Driver’s license is essential for this role
- Working within a small team of Engineers
