£35,000 - £40,000/annum

We are looking for an experienced Lift Service Engineer for our client in Rotherham.

Lift Service Engineer Benefits:

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: 35 - 40k D.O.E
  • 9 hours per day Monday to Friday (including travel)
  • Company van + fuel card
  • Open start time between 7.30am - 8.30am
  • Overtime: week nights 1.3 times, Saturday 1.5 times, Sunday/bank holidays 2 times
  • On call retainer £35 per day week days, £50 per day weekends/bank holidays
  • 25 days holiday plus stats

Lift Service Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of 4-5 lift services per day on average Yorkshire/North East Midlands (main focus on South & West Yorkshire).
  • Respond promptly to service calls and breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and lift performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to address any lift-related concerns or issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and advice to hospital personnel on lift usage and safety protocols.

Lift Service Engineer Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 certification in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining lifts.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of lift mechanics and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to meet service requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Flexibility to participate in the call-out rota, with availability for emergency responses on a rotational basis.
