We are looking for an experienced Lift Service Engineer for our client in Rotherham.
Lift Service Engineer Benefits:
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: 35 - 40k D.O.E
- 9 hours per day Monday to Friday (including travel)
- Company van + fuel card
- Open start time between 7.30am - 8.30am
- Overtime: week nights 1.3 times, Saturday 1.5 times, Sunday/bank holidays 2 times
- On call retainer £35 per day week days, £50 per day weekends/bank holidays

Lift Service Engineer Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of 4-5 lift services per day on average Yorkshire/North East Midlands (main focus on South & West Yorkshire).
- Respond promptly to service calls and breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and lift performance.
- Collaborate with clients to address any lift-related concerns or issues.
- Provide technical guidance and advice to hospital personnel on lift usage and safety protocols.
Lift Service Engineer Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 certification in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining lifts.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of lift mechanics and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to meet service requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Flexibility to participate in the call-out rota, with availability for emergency responses on a rotational basis.
