The Role
This is an exciting autonomous role where you will commission and install innovative solutions to blue chip manufacturing customers. Key responsibilities include:

• Installing, commissioning, testing data systems
• Source signals from PLCs/ PLC programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley)
• Code interrogation and modification

The Person
You will be a proven commissioning / installation / automation engineer or a controls systems engineer / maintenance engineer looking to take a step into a field based role, ideally with:

• Solid understanding of IT and industrial networking and communications, ethernet, TCPIP, Microsoft Office
• PLC programming experience or an awareness of PLCs
• Sound understanding of automated production lines

With a technical background and a good appreciation of plc, automation and data collection you will understand the concept of increasing machine performance on production lines and any knowledge of software on production lines will be highly advantageous.
