Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking an Electro/Mechanical Fitter based in Bristol for an industrial engineering company.

Salary: £33,000 - £36,000
Location:  Bristol
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Frirdays 8:00am - 1:30pm

The role…

As the Electro/Mechanical Fitter your role will involve the following important duties:

• Dismantle, rebuild and refurbishment of pumps, gearboxes, motors, generators and similar equipment.
• Repairs to all types of rotating equipment.
• Dismantling, inspection, condition assessment and subsequent report on received equipment.
• Fault finding of industrial electro-mechanical equipment.
• Operating specialised equipment such as test equipment, stoving ovens overhead crane forklifts.

The experience required…

As a successful Electro/Mechanical Fitter, you will have the following:

• Mechanical ONC & HNC, NVQ or equivalent qualification and time served.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong Engineering background with experience working with pumps, gearboxes, motors and fans.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Confined space and lifting & slinging qualifications would be advantageous.
