ROLE: Electrical and Mechanical Multi-Skilled Engineer

LOCATION: Rushden

HOURS OF WORK: Monday-Thursday- 07:30-05:00, Friday- 07:30- 11:30

ANNUAL SALARY: £35,000- £40,000

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: All breaks paid, Company Pension, Christmas Bonus.

We are currently looking for an experienced, accomplished, self-motivated Industrial Multi-Skilled Engineer to support our client, with their industry-leading products and systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled engineering team that provide integrated services to meet their clients needs.

In this Multi-Skilled Engineer role, you will be responsible for;

• Wiring of control panels and machinery
• Fault finding on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Building and refurbishing machinery
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.

The Engineer will work across a variety of functional groups, primarily wiring of control panels and also wiring of machinery. The ideal candidate is an inventive problem solver who is capable of working through technical challenges and employing pragmatic solutions working as part of a team or on own initiative.

To be successful in this Multi-Skilled Engineer role, you'll need;

• To be an electrically biased engineer, with mechanical knowledge
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings and fault finding
• Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• To be an inventive problem solver, able to work through technical challenges
• Able to work as a team or own their own with minimum supervision
• Machining and fabrication would be advantageous but not essential
