CNC Turner

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join an established family business based in Portsmouth. The company require a fully skilled machinist able to set, operate and programme CNC lathes to produce precision parts for various industries.
Responsibilities
To produce accurate, high-quality components.
Plan the production method, create programmes, and identify any tooling or fixture requirements.
Undertake any off set or minor changes to programmes to produce quality components to drawing limits/customer requirements.
Have a good understanding of Engineering drawings.
Have experience in machining various metals.
Be confident in working to tight tolerances and checking your own work during production batch runs.
Able to program and set machine within allocated times.
Able to program and set effectively to optimize cycle times.
Sliding Head and Fanuc experience preferred for the role.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4pm
Friday 7.30am-11.45am
Pay Rate
£16-£18 per hour
Overtime readily available weekdays and Saturdays
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
