Punching & Folding Operative

We are supporting a specialist manufacturer in their search for an additional Press Brake operator for the team. You will have experience of manufacturing a range of parts from technical drawings and have knowledge of a range of machinery. The business has a comprehensive catalogue of products, so production is very varied and of a high standard, This position is Monday to Friday days shift, 40 hours per week.

- Operate CNC punching & folding machines – A mixture of Amada, Mebusa press brakes & Salvagnini panel folder
- Producing multiple components from engineering drawings
- Sharpen and set up spare punch and dies
- Manufacture items from works order and drawings and record output on Mietrak systems in the required time and quality
- De-burr punched parts to the required standard.
- Bushing and Studding
- Material Handling
- Check manufactured products are within acceptable tolerances using Squares and Venires
