My client is a well-established engineering company looking for a BMS Applications engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of standardised BMS applications software for their Life Sciences and Data Centre Projects. This role will require the effective and efficient delivery of projects to ensure customer requirements are met, ensuring that there is the maximisation of project margin improvement, customer satisfaction and repeat sales.

Key Responsibilities

• To develop application standards using the inhouse system
• To review plans, functional specifications, and scope of work to design the system, ensuring the incorporation of best practices and using recognised industry standards where possible.
• To test and document all application standards and adhere to the company’s software qualification process.
• To work to existing standards & procedures
• Assist in setting & establishing new improved operating procedures.

Skills and Abilities

• Proven experience in the development of BMS software/applications (preferably 5+ years)
• Experience working with Data Centres or Life Sciences is desirable.
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to integrate 3rd party systems into BMS/EMS systems is required. Being able to do this via Modbus would be desirable.
