Is your day successful if you can keep machines running and if customers are satisfied? As a Field Service Engineer, do you enjoy having a team of colleagues that look after your daily planning, and support you remotely when you are facing more complex technical issues? Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will work as part of a team for your designated region.

The Field Service Engineer role:

  • Attend customer sites and perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on all brands of air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment.
  • Being an ambassador of Atlas Copco, promoting us to be First in Mind - First in Choice ®
  • Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment.
  • To Carry out installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software.
  • Develop relationships with customers
  • Develop skill's by learning technology and products, such as; VSD's, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
  • Respond to customer needs and work to satisfy customer expectations.
  • To be aware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations at all times on customers sites
  • Participate in a rotating on - call schedule and be able to work overtime on short notice.
  • Promote the Atlas Copco "Way". Learn and share knowledge, experiences and training with teammates to increase one's own knowledge and knowledge of others.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Contribute to positive Company branding by maintaining a professional and customer-oriented image

To succeed as Field Service Engineer, you will need:

  • Previous mechanical or electrical service experience.
  • Mechanical or electrical qualification. Although, we understand you might be qualified by experience
  • Full UK driving licence/ International Driving Licence (UK licence within 12 months)
  • Computer literacy, can learn new systems.
  • Flexibility to participate in the call out rota
  • You will work on-site, and will need to travel throughout your region
  • Maintain high company image & Standards
