Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a M&A IT Integration Technical Lead to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in Ipswich

The IT Integration Technical Lead is responsible for implementing all technical tasks and technical operations, relating to IT technical integrations following the acquisition of new companies into the OCS UK organisation.?

The Technical Lead will be overseeing and managing all technical work streams as part of the IT integration “play book”, and will need to work with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. A key part of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the IT integration and to ensure a high level of service is provided to the new colleagues who will be joining the OCS UK business, and that they experience the best possible transition to operate on new or different IT services & applications.?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing technical operations for IT integrations, ensuring technical staff are fully briefed and resource requirements clearly communicated?
  • Overseeing the purchasing of any new IT equipment or software required?
  • Communicating with multiple stakeholders (project managers, different business departments, IT suppliers etc) to ascertain their needs?
  • Working with project managers, understanding the technical integration requirements and developing detailed plans?
  • Developing and assigning work schedules/tasks for IT engineers and IT support teams (internal & external)?
  • Liaising with engineering teams to complete tasks, in line with the project plan?
  • Assisting in training and onboarding new colleagues and providing executive level support for senior leaders?
  • Reviewing ongoing and post go-live technical operations relating to IT integrations and rectifying any issues?
  • Implementing security standards and best practices, to meet the Target Operating Model (TOM)?

The IT Integration Technical Lead must have excellent technical expertise and strong analytical and debugging skills. As a given, the IT Integration Technical Lead must have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. A high level of motivation and the ability to make rational decisions is needed, along with a desire to learn new technologies and to quickly understand the technical environments of acquired companies.?
