Our client based in Irlam are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join them at theiri manufacturing aite based in Irlam
Position Outcomes: To perform the job successfully, an individual must accomplish the following position objectives:
- Key Contributor in helping coordinate day to day sales activity of the application engineering team
- Act as a communications lead for head of sales ensuring linkage between agreed actions and activity
- Deliver growth in sales for the pressure and load product ranges and support customer development and acquisition across EMEA
- Drive proactive sales activity, guiding and monitoring sales leads, outbound sales calls and mix between customer meetings and telephone and email contacts.
- Lead sales projects as and when defined and be able to develop winning project style sales strategies, key account strategies, prepare and deliver technical authority type customer presentations.
- Understand and co-ordinate customer feedback so that issues are addressed and improvements to the customer offer can be made.
- Support others in knowledge base to develop a wider range of sales opportunities.
- Be the voice of the customer, balancing this with targeting profiling DwyerOmega USPs to suit customer needs
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supporting the teams sales activities both pro active and re active to achieve orders and sales targets
- Delivering feedback to head of sales on KPI’s and Monthly Business Review requirements
- Supporting the team with the implementation and use of business systems and processes
- Drive and contribute to the achievement of sales performance of the region, identifying and proactively engaging with large or high potential customers, delivering an exceptional customer satisfaction experience
- Identify customers' needs and provide the 'best' or 'total' solution from a wide range of products and services.
- Create customer quotations.
- Identify areas of growth for individual products, product areas, customers, and markets, and provide feedback to marketing, design, and sourcing groups.
- Meet and exceed key performance measurements
- Support Internal Customers such as: Customer Service, Expedite, Purchasing and Export
- Maintain the quality requirements to meet the standards established by the Company.
- Must thrive in a high-performance environment, be able to multitask and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Lead knowledge of local targeted market dynamics and understanding of customer, custom and practice
- Adept at building relationships and developing product knowledge to build consistent growth through sales and customer acquisition
- Actively supporting others and customers to deliver best available solutions.

- B. Eng degree in a technical field (preferably C & I, electrical) with 3-5 years of similar experience or an industrial instrumentation and process control background coupled with a recognised academic qualification
