CAD Engineer

Job Description
- Assist with management and distribution of incoming data
- As part of your CAD modelling responsibilities you will be expected to create highly detailed technical drawings and make necessary modifications for manufacture
- Create technical solutions to design challenges
- Assist with meetings with Clients from a technical perspective
- Bridge the gap between design and manufacture, working closely with all disciplines within the process including CAS, Design, Clay and CMF
- Adhere to strict time schedules and update various departments on timescales
- Transfer and describe engineering and legislative requirements to design
- Work with in-house software (Catia V5)
Personal Specification
- A passion for automotive design
- High attention to detail and appreciation for quality
- Positive attitude to work hard within a team and alone
- Problem solver and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Good Microsoft Office experience
- Highly energetic and have a passion for teamwork and delivery
- Experience working in an automotive OEM or Tier One supplier in a specific CAD role
- Experience working with prototype models an advantage
