We currently have a vacancy for a Shift Technician based in the Slough area, working on a full continental shift pattern offering a very competitive salary and benefits package including a training program where financial bonuses are paid on the successful certification achievement.
During the pandemic situation there was a sense of business as usual as we continued to place both Mechanical and Electrical Engineers within Data Centre Environments. Engineers already employed within these environments worked throughout lockdowns and were in some cases rewarded with wage increases and bonuses.
Ideally, engineers with previous experience of working in Data Centres are always sought after but they will also now look at qualified engineers employed within an Industrial, Production or Marine industry with strong engineering maintenance experience. Have you ever considered, or would you now be open to looking at a position within a “state of the art data centre environment”, offering great career progression and a clear route into a recession-proof sector?
We are also aware of several new Data Centres that are currently under construction and some that are planned for the area’s all-around London and the Home Counties. With so many people now working remotely and the boom in internet commerce, the need for data storage is only going to grow so therefore future-proofing careers of engineers in this field.
