£43,000 - £47,000/annum

A globally recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Quality department with the appointment of a Quality Engineer.

As Quality Engineer, you will ensure all quality requirements are communicated in detail through the relevant departments and provide support throughout the organisation.

Working from their manufacturing facility in Birmingham, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for:

*Maintain TS16949 quality system requirements

*Apply Quality core tools to improve Customer satisfaction

*Maintain and monitor the SPC management system

*Create quality documentation including process flow charts, control plans and FMEA’s

*Deal with any customer concerns using 8D process

*Complete internal audits across TS16949 and ISO14001

*Train operators in SPC and measuring systems

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level in engineering or HNC/HND with relevant experience.

You should be able demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience in 8D, APQP, PPAP, PSW

You should have at least 2 years plus experience, excellent communication skills as this role will be the direct interface between manufacturing and the client.
