Our client, a leading global manufacturer of energy wire and cable products is looking to hire an Assistant Project Engineer (Korean Speaking) to work for their UK subsidiary located in Surrey.  

Job Description:
As Assistant Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various engineering projects from conception to completion. This role requires technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Manage all phases of engineering projects, including planning, design,  implementation, and evaluation.
•    Develop project plans and schedules.
•    Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
•    Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to determine project viability.
•    Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or obstacles, and implement corrective actions as needed.
•    Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
•    Prepare and present regular progress reports, updates, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
•    Facilitate communication between team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver superior results


Requirements:
•    Bachelor's degree in electrical, or civil Engineering or a related field
•    Project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets.
•    Experience in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project
•    Experience problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
•    Ability to work as a team to achieve project goals.
•    Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
•    Fluent in Korean and English
•    Right to work in the UK (Minimum of 1 years)
•    Right to drive in the UK (Not international license)
