Senior Technical Specialist

Essential Requirements / Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering
• 5 + years of experience years of experience in relevant field is a must,
• Working knowledge of battery systems, Inverter systems (BESS)
• Working experience troubleshoot technical problems and analyse system performance data
• Electrician experience within wiring
• Distribution board experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in business and technical English
• The ability to work independently

Senior Technical Specialist

The Role:

• You will supervise and coach the technical specialists
• You will allocate work within technical team
• You will be responsible for conducting tests and assessments of systems and repairs to ensure quality
• You will also prepare reports, maintain records, and requisition supplies and parts
• You will Work closely within the R&D team to translate market requirements
• You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting electrical equipment such as writing and reviewing plans and specifications for existing and new products
• You’ll also be in charge of diagnosing problems with electrical systems and equipment to identify the causes 
• Testing electrical equipment for safety and performance using meters and other devices as well as oversee the maintenance of electrical equipment
