Up to £38,000

Development Engineer required by Global engineering company who are market leader in their field. The successful Development Engineer will be part of the Research and Development Team, working on new and existing products.

Main Duties – Development Engineer

  • Supporting the R&D team with new product development and sustainment of existing products.
  • Evaluating new product designs.
  • Assembly of prototypes, working from schematics.
  • Carrying out fault finding of PCBs.
  • Assessing the compatibility of new components.
  • Assembly of cable harnesses and test rigs.
  • Carrying out testing of new products.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Development Engineer

  • Educated to HND/HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification with significant industry experience.
  • The ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and understand electronic circuits.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, adept at identifying and resolving technical challenges in a timely manner.
  • Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Excellent crimping and soldering skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills
