About the Company: I'm excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Programme Manager role within a leading engineering company.

The Role: I'm currently seeking a dedicated Programme Manager to work collaboratively with MoD staff, providing essential engineering support to Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive schemes of work for planned maintenance activities, engaging with the MoD for specification development, and coordinating with suppliers, OEMs, and specialists to ensure efficient support delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop schemes of work for planned maintenance activities.
• Engage with the MoD for specification development.
• Coordinate with suppliers, OEMs, and specialists for support delivery.
• Provide focal direction for design, estimating, and procurement functions.
• Develop 'contract deliverables' including work schedules, project guidance, risk capture, and price submissions.
• Provide management oversight during maintenance periods.
• Engage with shipyards and contractors for maintenance period delivery.
• Complete standard UK Security Questionnaire and ENG1 medical as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Formal engineering and planning qualifications preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in ship repair or naval engineering.
• Familiarity with the ship repair/refit/marine engineering environment is desirable.
• Competent with IT; experience with Scheduling (MS Project) is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel and support overseas projects.
• Must be a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant (or willing to become one).
