My client is a leading provider of specialist equipment, they provide solutions to their clients throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion, they have openings for 2 x Field Service Technicians to join their engineering team in the Manchester or close surrounding areas. The successful Field Service Technicians will travel to customer sites and will carry out inspections, service and minor repairs to the company’s range of equipment.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites and carry the service, inspection and minor repair of company equipment.
• Fitting and removal of new and hire equipment.
• Provide support of the company products during the warranty period.
• Completing detailed work records and reports
• Work directly with the Service team and provide daily updates with progress made.
• Assisting in the company workshop if required.

Field Service Technician Requirements:

• Possess a mechanical aptitude ideally with a mechanical engineering qualification (although not essential).
• Proven hands on mechanical skills.
• Able to work alone and also as part of a team on occasion.
• Happy to travel on a daily basis.
• Full UK driving licence.

Field Service Technician Benefits:

• Salary is £25,000 per annum.
• Guaranteed 6% overtime allowance.
• Monday to Friday – 8.30am – 5pm.
