We are currently recruiting an experienced and dedicated Fabricator for our engineering client based in South Tyneside.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

Fabrication and erection/installation. Work includes structural steelwork, utility and feature staircases and balustrade in mild and stainless steel, onsite and offsite fabrication, and welding.

Mild Steel Balustrades / handrails

Stainless steel Balustrades / handrails

Secondary Steelwork – including wind posts, trimming, brickwork supports etc.

Structural Steelwork – beams, columns, rafters, roof trusses

Feature Staircases – including timber treads, glass balustrades, stainless steel and aluminium, high quality finishes.

Utility Staircases

On-site welding and fabrication – include all aspects of welding, burning, cutting and erection.

Employment options contract or permanent:

Rate or salary is negotiable dependant on experience.

Long term contract (up to 3 years) self-employed.

Long term contract (up to 3 years) PAYE

Permanent with the following package:

25 days holiday

8-hour shift Monday – Friday

Overtime available weekdays and weekends with an uplifted rate to be discussed.
