Maintenance Supervisor opportunity with a growing food producer in Dungannon, overseeing the maintenance team and providing hands on support.

*Electrical Bias Needed*

This would be a great opportunity for an electrically biased maintenance engineer who has gained experience in a Supervisory role and looking to progress their career in the FMCG sector. Wider potential for this to progress in to overall Engineering Manager.

Hands on role providing daily supervision and oversight of the maintenance team, technical support, managing contractors and driving engineering efficiency's.

Monday to Friday hours, some weekends may be required

The Role

  • Daily supervision and leadership of the maintenance team
  • Daily planning and organisation of maintenance tasks, prioritising workloads
  • Hands on technical support across breakdowns, troubleshooting, installations and problem solving
  • Drive forward engineering efficiency's and team performance to minimise downtime
  • Manage contractors and suppliers
  • Leading role in projects and new installation
  • Senior point of contact working with other departments

What we are looking for

  • Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Senior Engineer in a Food/ FMCG setting
  • Proven maintenance experience with strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Qualified in Electrical discipline / Electrical bias engineer
  • Strong electrical knowledge, fault finding, PLC's, controls and automated systems
  • Excellent communicator and organised
